Jordan and James chose to celebrate their wedding on the vibrant and energised island of Mykonos. Recognised for its cosmopolitan character, rich history and sophisticated nightlife. The playground of the 1960’s jetset to the present day. Mykonos has become one of the most desirable islands in the world attracting the more discerning traveler. I personally love the island. Especially as a wedding photographer with all its alluring qualities so when Jordan and James asked me to photograph their wedding in Mykonos I was simply honoured.

The young couple from Seattle met at a mutual friends party. They started dating shortly after, through university and eventually moving in together. Both with a great love of travel a destination wedding was a must. They had been to Greece on separate occasions but never together. As a result both were charmed with the beauty and relaxed nature of the country. The couple discussed options for destinations but just kept coming back to Greece, and in particular the island of Mykonos.

On May 28th Jordan and James exchanged their vows in the sublime surroundings of Soho Roc House in front of close family and friends. Situated between Paranga and Paradise Beach with a laidback yet luxurious vibe the hotel offers wide open views of the Aegean Sea providing the perfect backdrop for a ceremony. Before the ceremony we had the opportunity to shoot in some of the most iconic areas of Chora including the windmills and Little Venice adding a typically Myconian touch to their photo collection.
